However, the Church of St. Paraskevi is one of the best preserved historical buildings in Nessebar. It was probably built at the turn of the 13th and 14th century.
The building is relatively small and measures about 15x5 meters. It has no belfry or tower, but the beautifully decorated facade with blind arches is striking.
At present, the church functions as a museum.
