The main and largest town on Saba is called The Bottom and has about 500 inhabitants. It is also the lowest village of all the villages on Saba.
Compared to the much more touristy Windwardside, The Bottom is a sleepy village with a few offices, two small grocery stores, an ATM and a hospital.
If you're staying on Saba for a longer period of time, we recommend choosing the higher and better equipped Windwardside.
What to see?
The village of The Bottom has three churches, one larger restaurant and a bar on the way to the harbour.
There's a nice trail leading directly from the centre to Parish Hill, which offers great views and only takes about 2 hours to hike.
Accommodation
At The Bottom you will stay in a luxury hotel Queen's Hotel Saba high above the city and surrounded by forests.
