MuseumsQuartier

MuseumsQuartier

The MuseumsQuartier (often abbreviated MQ) is a world-famous complex of many famous museums spread over more than 90,000 square metres practically right in the centre of Vienna.

The complex contains several baroque buildings interspersed with modern museums from the 20th century.

In front of the MuseumsQuartier district are the two huge buildings of the Museum of Art and Natural History and the Natural History Museum, which are not officially part of the MuseumsQuartier.
