Top 10 hotels on Booking.com

The best and most practical accommodation is, of course, right in the centre of Vienna, where there is the largest choice of hotels. Staying in the centre and the immediate surroundings(Josefstadt, Mariahilf, Neubau, Alsergrund, Leopoldstadt) will also give you the greatest freedom to get around the city, with most sights easily accessible on foot.

If you're primarily heading to Prater for entertainment, look for accommodation around Praterstern Station or the Vienna Messe Exhibition Grounds, where you can walk to Prater in 5 minutes.

If you're just passing through Vienna, or simply looking for accommodation in an area that's easy to get to by car, focus your attention on the Donaustadt or Vösendorf areas.
