Shopping diversity

Mariahilfer Street starts right at the MuseumsQuartier and stretches through the district of the same name for 2 km to the Westbahnhof station. More precisely, the shopping paradise ends here, the street itself continues even further.

Along the street you can visit more than 360 shops and restaurants, with more waiting for you in the side streets of the Mariahilfer district. Here you'll find luxury boutiques, classic international fashion brands, as well as stylish restaurants, bookstores, drugstores, budget outlets of local Austrian brands, fast food outlets and electronics shops. In short: the paradise of all shopaholics is right here in Vienna!

But Mariahilfer Straße is not the only purely shopping street in Vienna. In fact, it competes for shopaholics with the much more luxurious Kärntner Straße in the city centre.
