Viewing platform and restaurant
In addition to its main purpose as a television and mobile transmitter, the Donauturm also provides attractions for tourists. At a height of 155 metres, you can admire Vienna and the wider surroundings from the viewing platform, where you can easily see the peaks of the Alps in the least bit of good weather.
Even higher, 170 metres above the ground, there is a café and restaurant that rotates on its axis. It can make one 360° turn in about half an hour. For menus and to book a table, visit donauturm.at.
A pair of elevators will take you to the restaurant and the observation deck in about 35 seconds.
