ATMs and currency exchange

Currency exchange offices can be found in the arrivals hall, but the rates are less convenient than withdrawing money from an ATM, for example with the popular Revolut card.

ATMs from many Indonesian banks can be found in both the arrival and departure halls.

You can also exchange some of your money when you buy your visa on arrival from abroad. This is because you can pay cash in Euros, US dollars or Singapore dollars, but you will always be refunded in Indonesian rupiah. However, the exchange rate is less favourable than if you pay for your visa by card.

Luggage storage

Luggage storage is located on the departure level, along with a luggage wrapping service.

It is charged per 24 hour period from 70 000 idr to 100 000 idr depending on the size of the luggage.

Shops and supermarket

In the departure lounge (public and transit area) you will find several Indomaret or Circle K minimarkets with packaged takeaway food and simple hot food options.

Another minimarket is located at the entrance to the train station.

After security check, there are several shops selling cosmetics, fashion or souvenirs.

Most shops throughout the airport are open 5:00-21:00.

There is no pharmacy at Yogyakarta Airport.

Dining options

The terminal is equipped with a large number of restaurants of various kinds.

Small local bistros are located in the corridor between the train station and the terminal.

In the terminal itself you can find fast-food restaurants such as KFC (departures level), A&W (arrivals and transit area) or Starbucks (transit area).

Most restaurants and fast-food outlets are open 5:00-21:00.
