Transfer at Tenerife South Airport

Tenferife-Sur Airport has one terminal with a single ground floor in the public area. The larger part of the roughly 500-metre-long building is used for departures. A smaller section on the far left, as seen from the outside, is reserved for arrivals.
The terminal remains open 24 hours a day.
The airport building is very modern, spacious and the signage is clear.
The separation between Schengen and non-Schengen flights takes place behind a single common security checkpoint. Departure gates A1-A7, B9-B10 and C35-C40 are behind passport control and are only allocated for departures to non-Schengen countries.

Transfer between flights
Tenerife is not a typical transfer airport, nor can you make a direct transfer without leaving the transit zone.
You always have to go past the baggage belts outside, walk from the departure lounge and through security back to the transit area.

Good morning, I have a question, our flight arrives at 1am and the delivery of our rental car is at 7am. From 1am to 7am we can stay inside the airport or they will make us leave. Thank you very much
Hello, the terminal is open 24 hours a day.
