Teesside is a small international airport formerly known as "Durham Tees Valley" or "Darlington Tees Valley".

The airport mainly serves the major port town of Middlesbrough, which lies 12 miles to the east.

The nearest towns are Darlington (6 miles), Stockton-on-Tees (8 miles) and historic Durham (25 miles).
