Find out what services and facilities are available at Philadelphia Airport. Where is the best place to eat and shop?
Internet and wi-fi
Wi-fi is free and unlimited. Select the "PHL Free Wifi" network.
Don't wait to buy a physical sim card upon arrival. Get a US data e-sim quickly and easily on the web airalo.com.
Luggage storage
None of the Philadelphia Airport terminals are equipped with luggage storage or automated lockers.
Shops and supermarket
Philadelphia Airport is not very well equipped with shops, and all of them are after security.
You will find shops selling duty free goods, electronics, travel gear, fashion, jewellery, cosmetics or toys. But there is usually only one store of a given category.
Exceptions are the ubiquitous Hudson News newsagents and mini-markets selling drinks, sweets and stationery.
In the public area of the airport, you will find the CIBO Express mini-market in Terminal B (4:15-22:00).
Dining options
Like the shops, the restaurants are virtually all after security.
Dining options are really plentiful at PHL and include many fast-food outlets, classic restaurants and cafés.
Most branches open at 4:15am, the time security checks open, and close at 10pm. No restaurant is open 24/7.
For a clear list of restaurants by terminal, visit phlfoodandshops.com.
ATMs and exchange offices
The international terminal has a CXI exchange office with a very unfavourable exchange rate.
We recommend withdrawing money from one of the many ATMs of the regular US banks.
Charging stations
There are plug-in charging stations for personal electronics at many locations in Philadelphia Airport.
For a list of locations with charging stations, visit the airport's website at phl.org/charging-stations.
Breastfeeding room
Rooms for mothers with small children with comfortable chairs and changing stations can be found at 8 locations, see phl.org/nursing-stations for a list.
