The building is modern and very spacious. The arrivals hall is located on the left and the check-in counters on the right. Security check in is on the 1st floor.

After the security check at the departure gates, you will find plenty of seating including comfortable chairs.

Transfer between flights

At Penghu-Magong Airport, you can transfer between flights from Taiwan Island to the smaller islands of Qimei or Kinmen, for example.

These will always be purely domestic transfers and therefore you will never go through passport control.

If you already have a boarding pass for the next flight, you don't need to leave the transit area at all. In fact, upon arrival you will be directly in the departure gate area and the net transfer time will be a maximum of 1-3 minutes depending on the location of the connecting departure gate.

If you do not have boarding passes for the next flight, you must go outside, check in and go through security back to the transit area.

Procedures here are quick and the real good transfer time will be no more than 20 minutes.
