Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport is located in Tokoin, about 6.5 km from the centre of Lomé, the capital of the African state of Togo.
It is the only airport in Togo with scheduled services and a major hub for the whole of West Africa. One of West Africa's largest airlines , Asky (a subsidiary of Ethiopian Airlines), is based here and operates flights to some 25 African destinations.
Several other airlines from Africa also fly to Lomé, mainly from Nigeria, Morocco, Côte d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso.
Long-haul flights to Lomé are operated by Air France from Paris, Brussels Airlines from Brussels and Ethiopian Airlines from New York, Washington and via Addis Ababa airport to Asia and Europe.
