Istanbul - Blue Mosque

On 6 April 2019, the airport was closed to passenger traffic and moved to the newly established Istanbul IST. All flights now operate from the new airport.

Atatürk Airport is located in the European part of Istanbul about 20 km from the city centre and is one of the busiest airports in the world. One of the largest airlines, Turkish Airlines, has its headquarters here and connects Istanbul with almost every major and minor city around the world.

The airport is open 24 hours a day.
