Find out what services and facilities are available at Havana Airport. Where is the best place to eat and shop?
Internet and wi-fi
The official wifi network "Wifi-etecsa-aeropuerto" is available for a fee of 5 cuc per hour.
Currency exchange and ATMs
You will find currency exchange offices at terminals 2 and 3 near the check-in desks. The official Cadeca company has the same exchange rates everywhere in Cuba, so there is no need to worry about unfavourable airport exchange rates.
You can also use the Cadeca ATMs in Terminals 2 and 3, which can easily accept foreign cards, unless the ATM is short of cash, which is relatively often.
We definitely don't recommend relying entirely on ATMs. Rather, arrive in Cuba with cash, preferably in Euros, Canadian dollars or British pounds.
Shops and restaurants
There are several small souvenir shops in the public area of Terminal 3.
Once through security at Terminal 3, there are very expensive restaurants and overpriced cosmetics or luggage shops. Prices here are high even by American or European standards.
Terminal 2 has only two small overpriced snack shops.
Luggage storage
There is no luggage storage available at Havana Airport.
Showers
Public showers are not available at Havana Airport, even in the premium lounges.
