Internet and wi-fi
Wi-fi works for free by scanning your boarding pass at kiosks located throughout the airport, which will generate a code/password for you to log in.
Alternatively, you can log in using a password that will be sent to you by text message after entering your phone number on the Geneva Airport website.

Luggage storage
Store your luggage in two locations in the airport train station.
- Automatic lockers near the SBB/CFF ticket counters - open 3:30-0:30 and you pay for 24 hours of storage depending on the size of your baggage 5 chf to 12 chf
- Traditional manned lockers near SBB/CFF counters - open 7:30-20:00 and pay for 24 hours of storage 12 chf regardless of bag size
Shops and supermarket
Migros food supermarket is located in the airport train station and is open daily from 7:30-21:00. Light snacks (sandwiches, drinks, salads) can also be purchased at the "All You Need" shop located in each of the satellite buildings (departure gates B and D).
There is also a pharmacy in the public area of Terminal 1, open from 6:00-18:00. It remains closed on weekends.
Other shops selling duty free goods, luxury accessories, watches and fashion, electronics or souvenirs are located mainly after security.

Restaurants
The main terminal is well equipped with upscale restaurants, cafés and fast-food outlets such as McDonald's and Starbucks.
Most restaurants open around 5:00 and close around 22:00. A list of all dining options can be found on the airport website: gva.ch/Restaurants-bars.
What establishments are open before 5am and after 10pm?
- Brezelkönig: takeaway snacks, bakery - immediately after security check, 4:30-9pm
- Cano Café: café - after security check, departure gate "C", open from first to last departure
- Le Cellier: bakery and café - after security check, French sector, open from first to last departure
- The Hub 'N Co: café and bar - public section, arrivals, 7:30-0:30
ATMs and currency exchange
Airport exchange offices are operated by Global Exchange with unfavourable rates.
Choose your money from ATMs of several Swiss banks located in the public area of the arrivals hall:
- UBS
- Raiffeisen
- La Poste
- BCGE
Showers
Public showers are available at the airport in 3 different locations:
- Transit area (departures) - near the upper class lounges
- Transit Area (Arrivals) - near baggage belt number 6
- Public Area (Arrivals) - near the Post Office branch
The price for using the showers is 15 chf. The fee is payable at the Swissport desk (baggage claim area), at the information booth (public area of the arrivals hall) or at the Swissport lounge reception in the departure transit area.
Changing room
There is a small room for parents with small children in the transit area at departure gate "C".
There are several changing tables as well as a discreet area with comfortable chairs for nursing mothers.
Drinking water
Cold drinking water fountains are available in the transit area near the A8 departure gate and also near the showers on the lounge level.
Smoking rooms
After the security checkpoint on the floor with premium lounges and showers, you will also find an enclosed ventilated smoking room.
Business Corner
The 16 seats in the transit area offer comfortable work areas with taller desks with office chairs suitable for laptop work.
There are 220 V sockets and USB-connectors.
Viewing terrace
In the public area, you can visit the outdoor observation deck with the airfield, runway and the Jura Mountains in the background.
Access is by lift from the arrivals hall and access to the terrace is free.
The observation deck is open Monday to Saturday from 7:00-19:00, and only from April to October. It remains closed on Sundays.
