When do the check-in counters open at the airport and is there a charge for printing a boarding pass at the check-in counter?

Check-in at the airport

Check-in at the airport is free of charge.

Check-in counters open every 2.5 hours and close 40 minutes before departure.

For flights from Tel Aviv and Marsa Alam, they open 3 hours before departure. For flights from Dubai, Tel Aviv and on all routes over 5 000 km, the counter closes 60 minutes before departure.

Online check-in

You can only check-in online on scheduled Smartwings flights with flight numbers QS0001-1261, QS1300-1999, QS2012-2017, QS2036-2041.

Online check-in is available 30 hours to 60 minutes before departure.

Seat selection (seating)

The selection of a specific seat is also charged at online check-in at 15 eur for 1 seat.

If you do not want to pay, do not click on the seat map, the system will assign you a random seat for free.

If you have purchased a ticket on the PLUS, FLEX or BUSINESS fares, you can choose your seat for free.
