Check-in is fully automated at the main airports where SAS operates. You print your own luggage tag at the kiosk, attach it to your luggage and scan it at the automated counter and hand it in to the conveyor belt.

Online check-in

You can check in online and print your boarding pass at home or at an airport kiosk.

Online check-in works from 30 hours before departure. The latest you can check in online is 1 hour before departure.

Mobile check-in is the most common method. Simply download the official SAS app (Google Play / App Store), enter your booking number and present a QR code on your mobile phone at the airport.

Seat selection (seating)

You can choose a specific seat on the aircraft for a fee. If you don't want to pay this fee, just skip the seat selection step and you will be assigned a random seat for free.

When travelling with children, you will be seated together even if you are randomly assigned.

Seating fees vary widely by flight length, season and ticket price and range from 10 eur to 20 eur. The fee is only applicable on SAS Go fares. On SAS Plus fares and when travelling in business class, you can choose a specific seat on the aircraft for free.
