Hand luggage

On the SAS GO Light fare, you can strictly take on board only 1 small hand luggage of 40 x 30 x 15 cm.

Larger cabin baggage measuring 55 x 40 x 23 cm can be purchased for between 15 eur and 20 eur depending on the length of the route.

However, on all fares except SAS GO Light, a larger cabin bag is always included in the price of the ticket.

Checked baggage

Checked baggage is included on all fares except the cheapest SAS GO Light. The maximum weight of the baggage must be up to 23 kg.

Adding checked baggage to a SAS GO Light fare costs from 25 eur to 60 eur depending on the route.

If you only need checked baggage and only need one small carry-on, purchase the lowest SAS GO Light fare and add checked baggage in the second step.

However, if you want to travel with a checked bag and 2 carry-on bags and possibly still book a specific window seat, it will always be cheaper to buy the SAS GO Smart fare straight away.

Baggage for children

SAS baggage policy for children is quite strict. Children under 2 years old who sit on your lap are not allowed any luggage of their own.

However, a small bag with baby food is tolerated free of charge (size is not specified, but the bag should be no larger than an average small women's handbag).

For children aged 2 years and over, the normal conditions of the purchased fare apply.

The pushchair and booster seat can always be carried free of charge as checked baggage for all children up to 11 years of age.

You can take the pushchair through security and to the aircraft, where the attendant will place it in the aircraft baggage compartment. It will be issued to you again as soon as you leave the aircraft, not at the baggage belt.

Other luggage

Non-standard baggage such as skis, golf bags, musical instruments, bicycles and other sports equipment are counted as regular checked baggage.

Their weight cannot exceed 23 kg.
