Lion Air is one of the carriers that allow free check-in at the airport.
Check-in at the airport
Check-in at the airport counter is free of charge for Lion Air.
Counter opening and closing times are as follows:
- Domestic flights - 120 to 30 minutes before departure
- International flights - 120 to 45 minutes prior to departure

If you're not travelling with checked baggage, most Indonesian airports also have self-service kiosks where you can print your own boarding pass.
Online check-in
You can check in online and print your boarding pass at home.
Online check-in works from 24 hours to 4 hours before departure.
Mobile check-in is the most used method. Online check-in is only possible via the Book Cabin mobile app (Google Play / App Store), where you enter your booking number and present a QR code on your mobile at the airport.
Selecting a seat (seating)
The selection of a specific seat on the aircraft is charged at 35 000 idr to 85 000 idr depending on the specific seat and route.
If you do not select a seat, it will be randomly assigned to you free of charge.
