Check-in at the airport

LATAM allows you to check in at the airport without any fee.

Check-in desks open normally 2 hours before domestic departures and 3-4 hours before international departures.

The latest check-in time is normally 60 minutes for international flights and 40 minutes for domestic flights.

Online check-in

Online check-in is normally available 48 hours - 2 hours before departure at LATAM Chile and LATAM Ecuador, and 72 hours - 2 hours at LATAM Colombia, LATAM Peru and LATAM Paraguay.

When travelling to/from the USA, you can check in no earlier than 24 hours before departure.

If you are unable to check in online, you can check in at the airport without any problems.

Seat selection (seating)

You can select your specific seat on the aircraft at the time of ticket purchase or later on the LATAM website for a fee from 16 eur.

For long-haul flights, the cheapest window seat is at 25 eur.

If you don't want to pay for a specific seat, you will be assigned a random seat for free.
