How do I check-in with Jetstar? Is airport check-in free and how long before my flight is online check-in available?

Check-in at the airport

Checking in and printing your boarding pass at the airport is free.

Self-service kiosks are available at all Australian airports.

Counter opening times are as follows:

• Domestic flights - 2 hours to 40 minutes before departure
• International flights - 3 hours to 50 minutes before departure

Online check-in

Online check-in is available at Scoot 48 hours before departure.

You can also check in via the Jetstar mobile app (available on Google Play / App Store).

Seat selection

You can select a specific seat during the ticket purchase process for a fee.

Fees vary according to the attractiveness of the seat and the cheapest seats near the window in the back cost from 15 aud for long-haul flights or from 10 aud for domestic flights.

If you don't want to pay for seat selection, skip this option. You will be assigned a random seat for free.
