IndiGo is a private low-cost airline and the largest airline in India. It has an impressive fleet of 150 Airbus A320 aircraft and has over 400 more on order. It was founded only in 2006. The vast majority of its aircraft come directly from the manufacturer, making IndiGo one of the most modern airlines ever.
Domestic routes within India are its main domain, supplemented by relatively few international services, mainly to neighbouring countries and the Arabian Peninsula. IndiGo has its largest bases at Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata airports.
