All fares include at least 1 piece of checked baggage up to 20 kg (domestic flights) or 30 kg (international flights) and 1 piece of standard cabin baggage plus one small personal item.

Hand luggage

You can take on board 1 piece of cabin baggage measuring 56 x 36 x 23 cm and weighing up to 7 kg free of charge.

In addition to your hand luggage, you can bring one of the following personal items:

• Laptop bag
• Blanket, coat
• Umbrella or walking stick
• Camera

Checked luggage

Passengers on all economy class fares can have 1 piece of checked baggage free of charge. The dimensions are not strictly defined and it is important not to exceed the weight:

• 20 kg - domestic flights within Indonesia
• 30 kg - international routes except to/from Japan
• 46 kg - routes to/from Japan (if you travel with more than 32 kg, you must split the weight into 2 bags - both will be carried free of charge)

Overweight charges

If you are over the weight limit, you will be charged for each extra kilogram. For domestic and short international routes you pay between 28 000 idr and 72 000 idr, while for the longest routes to Amsterdam or Australia you can pay up to 220 000 idr.

Baggage pooling

If more than one passenger is travelling with the same booking, they can pool their total baggage allowance into one bag.

Baggage for children

If you're travelling with children under 2 years old, you can take a pushchair on the plane for free. No extra luggage is officially allowed.
