You can check in for your flight with Garuda Indonesia for free at the counter at the airport, but you can also check in faster via kiosks or from the comfort of your home via your computer or phone.

Check-in at the airport

Check-in at the airport is always free.

You must always check-in at the airport if you are travelling on an international flight. In this case, you cannot check in via a kiosk.

Online check-in

The most convenient way to check in is online at garuda-indonesia.com or via the Garuda mobile app (Google Play / App Store).

Online check-in is available 48-2 hours before departure on all routes.

Seat selection

Selecting a specific seat on the aircraft on the Eco Promo fare is charged on international flights and not at all possible on domestic flights.

On international routes on the Eco Promo fare, the cost to select a specific seat ranges from 300 000 idr to 600 000 idr. If you do not select a seat, it will be randomly assigned to you free of charge.

On any higher fare (e.g. Eco Comfort, Eco Affordable, Business) the selection of a specific seat is free.
