Azul profiles itself as a classic network airline offering guaranteed connecting flights.
Tickets can be purchased via the official website voeazul.com.br. However, as Azul flies with competing airlines on most of its routes, we recommend comparing prices via comparison sites such as skyscanner.com.

When to buy tickets
The best time to book flights is 2-5 months before departure.
On very frequent routes like Rio de Janeiro - Sao Paulo or Sao Paulo - Brasília, fares can stay low even 1 month before departure.
Fare classes
Azul offers only economy class on Airbus A320/321, Embraer E190, ATR72 and Cessna aircraft, while business class is also available on long-haul routes operated by Airbus A330 aircraft.
Tickets are divided into several fare groups, which differ in the number of free baggage allowances, change fees and cancellation options.
