You can normally check in for free at the airport counter. Online check-in via the mobile app is also available.

Check-in at the airport

Azul allows you to check in at the airport at no charge.

Check-in desks open normally 2 hours before domestic departures and 3 hours before international departures.

The latest check-in time is normally 60 minutes for international flights and 40 minutes for domestic flights.

Online check-in

Online check-in is available 72 hours - 90 minutes before departure, you can print your boarding pass at home or at the self-service kiosk at the airport. If you have luggage, use the express baggage drop-off counter.

Check-in via mobile phone is possible by downloading the Azul app - Google Play / App Store. You don't need to print your boarding pass at all, just scan the QR code at the airport.

For flights to/from the USA, online check-in is available 24 hours before departure.

Seat selection (seating)

If you buy the cheapest "Azul" fares, you can choose your seat on the plane for a fee 10 usd to 30 usd depending on the length of your route.

On the "Mais Azul" fare, seat selection is free.

If you do not want to pay for a specific seat, you will be assigned a random seat for free.
