Ttukseom Park

Although there are many beautiful parks, pedestrian and bicycle promenades in Seoul on the banks of the Hangan River, we would like to mention the beautiful Ttukseom Park.

The spacious park, with its many benches and wide lawns for sitting and picnicking, is complemented by bike and pedal boat rentals and, in summer, a large swimming pool.

Divine views of Seoul

Ttukseom Park is superbly located and offers views of several Seoul buildings. In the afternoon and early evening, the best views from here are of Korea's tallest building, the Lotte World Tower, which is beautifully lit by the setting sun, as well as the Olympic Stadium directly opposite the park.

In the morning and morning, on the other hand, the view of N Seoul Tower and Namsan Hill stands out.

Immediately next to the subway station, you can also admire the futuristic J-Bug building, which serves as a small local library and community center.

Rent a bike or pedal boat

Just below the metro station you will find a bike rental shop. A ride along the Han River on the quality bike paths will be a great way to refresh your day in Seoul. Pay for an hour's bike rental at 3 000 krw, then every additional 15 minutes at 500 krw.

Not into pedalling along bike paths? Swap it for pedaling on the water! Duck-shaped boats are available, both in motorized versions and in the form of a classic pedal boat. For a 30-minute pedal boat rental, pay 18 000 krw, a motorized boat goes for 25 000 krw.

Cool off in the outdoor pool

In the summer months, stop by the large outdoor swimming pool between the metro station and the Han River to cool off on hot days. Pay to enter 5 000 krw.

During winter, the pools serve as a sports area for sledding.

Transportation to Ttukseom Park

The park is easily reached by the dark green metro line 7, which stops at Ttukseom Park station (use exits 2 or 3).
