Mazda, one of the famous Japanese automakers, has been inseparably linked to Hiroshima since its founding in 1920.
It has had its headquarters and production plants here continuously since its inception and although the entire plant was completely destroyed after the dropping of the atomic bomb, it was rebuilt in the 1950s.
