The pedestrianised Via Dante is one of Milan's most important boulevards and a popular tourist destination.

Via Dante connects Piazza Cordusio near the centre of Milan (near the Duomo) and Largo Cairoli, where the famous Castello Sforzesco is located.

The street is therefore a natural hiking route between two of Milan's most important monuments.
