Where to stay in Bari
Bari is a relatively compact city, so if you stay within the wider centre, you'll never go wrong and can walk anywhere within 25 minutes.
However, we can still divide Bari into 2 areas suitable for accommodation to maximise convenience.
Old Town
Most of the sights and attractions are located in the historic district of Bari Vecchia, where to stay if you want to be in the heart of the action and have all the sights like the palm of your hand.
In the old town you'll find mostly private apartments and Bed and Breakfasts, don't look for traditional hotels.
The prices of these apartments range between 44 eur and 66 eur per night, we choose the best ones:
- Residenza San Marco Dei Veneziani - an apartment in a stylish historic building in the centre of the Old Town
- B&B Sant'Anna - a beautiful modern apartment just a short walk from the main square, Piazza Mercantile
- Dimora Vittoria - one of the best-rated apartments in Bari
The new "Murat" centre
Located between the Old Town and the railway station, the modern city centre is the perfect place if you want to be close to both the main station and the sights. Here you can find classic hotels with prices between 66 eur and 99 eur, apartments from 26 eur
- Hotel City - The relaxed 2* hotel is one of the cheapest in Bari
- Best Western Executive Business Hotel - a classic 3* near the historic centre
- Hotel Adria - a well rated 3* hotel next to the station
Luxury hotels

The best are definitely the modern 5* iH Grande Albergo Delle Nazioni on the seafront promenade near the historic centre.
