The Old Harbour Umbrella, as the official name of this novel shelter is, can be found right in the centre of town on the main promenade.
As the name suggests, it is a canopy covering a large part of the walkway near the regular boat and bus stops and is also used for various events, concerts, etc.
The underside of the roof is made up of 120 polished stainless steel plates, giving the impression of a mirror.
The roof measures 22m x 48m and was designed by the famous architect Norman Foster. It was inaugurated in 2013.
