Billund itself doesn't offer much activity. But we've tried to put together some tips for you to make the most of your trip.
Billund with children
Children in particular will love Billund. It's absolutely made for an active holiday in their vision and no wonder too. After all, the town is bursting with colour and Lego bricks.
Take the kids to Legoland theme park or the water and outdoor world of Lalandia with the largest water park in Scandinavia. You won't regret it and little travellers will remember this trip for a long time.
Rent a car and drive around Denmark
The second activity that can be combined with a visit to Billund is located outside of it. With cheap flights and very inexpensive car rentals at the airport, it is often encouraged to plan your exploration of Denmark with a starting point in Billund.
If you book your car in advance, it will work out at less than 18 eur per day:
Head to the west coast to Esbjerg. In the east, don't miss Vejle, Kolding and possibly Odense. The north is clearly dominated by Aarhus, Aalborg and possibly the northern tip of Denmark Skagen Nordstrand.
