St. Patrick's Cathedral

St Patrick's Church is the main cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church in the Australian state of Victoria and is one of the most beautiful historical monuments.
The cathedral was built between 1858 and 1939 in the Neo-Gothic style.
Amazing play of colours
The facade of the cathedral is very interesting, combining the dark grey colour of the main part of the building with the predominantly beige colour used on all three towers.
The austere interior of the church is enhanced by the orange glass on the windows, which on sunny days creates an absolutely magical light inside.
Admission and opening hours
St. Patrick's Cathedral is open to the public every day from 7:00-18:00, or 8:00-19:00 on weekends.
