Shops and supermarkets

Different terminals are equipped with different kinds of shops.

  • Domestic - mostly small minimarkets and newsagents, luggage and travel gear shops
  • US - mostly small minimarkets and newsagents, luggage and travel shops and duty free shops
  • International - duty free shops, as well as luxury fashion, jewellery, accessories and travel gear shops
  • South Terminal - no shops

Travelers are most looking for takeaway shops or pharmacies.

  • Pharmacy - domestic terminal, public area, 9am-5pm (closed Sundays)
  • 7 Eleven - domestic terminal, public area, 24/7

Dining options

The main airport area (domestic, US and international terminals) are equipped with a wide range of restaurants, cafes and fast-food outlets.

In the South Terminal, you'll find a bistro in the public area and one restaurant after security.

Luggage storage

Vancouver Airport has several branches of CDS Baggage, which operates baggage storage.

  • Domestic Terminal - Public Area, 6:00-22:00
  • International Terminal - Public Area, 7:00-22:00

Prices per 24 hours range from 11 cad to 14,50 cad depending on the size of the baggage.

ATMs and money changers

ATMs can be found in abundance in both arrivals and departures halls in both terminals.

Avoid the ATMs of the official airport exchange office "International Currency Exchange", which charge very high fees.

Showers

Unfortunately, there are no public showers at the airport. You can only use the showers in some of the premium lounges.
