Vancouver International Airport in a nutshell

Vancouver

Vancouver Airport is the second largest airport in Canada and the main gateway for flights from Asia to all of Canada.

Air Canada, Westjet and other small regional airlines from British Columbia have one of their bases here.

Scheduled flights go to many destinations in Canada, the US and Mexico. Long-haul services fly mainly to East Asia and Western Europe.

US Pre-clearence

If you're flying from Vancouver to the US, you'll already go through US immigration at Vancouver Airport before your flight. This also applies if you are connecting to a flight to the US in Vancouver - you will go through US immigration during your transfer.

Once you arrive in the US from Vancouver, you won't go through immigration again, saving you hours of time.
