Rent a car
Tromso Airport is a popular starting point for road-trips around the Lofoten Islands, so a car is the most common and practically the only relevant form of transport.
Several international car rental companies such as Avis, Sixt, Alamo, Enterprise and Budget operate right in the terminal.
Weekly rental prices vary greatly depending on the season, but also on the timeliness of the booking. Especially during summer travel, we recommend booking a car at least 3-4 months in advance.
The average cost of renting a smaller car for a week is around 650 eur.
