Internet and wi-fi

Luggage storage

Baggage lockers are located at all four terminals and are charged per 24 hours depending on the size of the baggage 10 sgd to 20 sgd. Directions to "baggage deposit" can be found in the arrival halls.

  • Terminal 2 - public area, Level 1, Arrival Hall North
  • Terminal 3 - public area, Level 1, near the metro station
  • Terminal 4 - public area, Level 1, near the shuttle bus to Terminal 2

All luggage storage facilities are open 24/7 and can be paid with cash and card.

Showers

Freshen up after a long flight or vice versa before a night flight after a day exploring Singapore. Showers can be found in several locations.

  • Terminal 1 - Transit Zone, Plaza Premium Lounge, open 24/7, access 75 sgd for 3 hours (full lounge use)
  • Terminal 2 - public area, Level 1, open 7am-10pm, entry 5 sgd
  • Terminal 2 - Transit Zone, Ambassador Transit Lounge, open 24/7, access 68 sgd for 3 hours (full lounge use)
  • Terminal 3 - Transit Zone, Ambassador Transit Lounge, open 24/7, access 68 sgd for 3 hours (full lounge use)

Shops and supermarkets

In addition to its transport function, Singapore Airport also serves as a huge shopping mall. The central building JEWEL between terminals 1, 2 and 3 is filled with a variety of shops selling luxury clothing brands, accessories and even travel essentials.

Among the convenience stores that travelers ask about the most, let's name the many mini-markets with food and takeaway snacks.

  • 7 Eleven: building JEWEL, 7am-0pm
  • 7 Eleven: all terminals, transit section, 24/7
  • WHSmith: all terminals, transit section, hours of operation at T1 and T3 are 24/7, while T3 and T4 are 6:00-0:00 a.m.
  • WHSmith: public section, terminals 1 and 2, 7:00-23:00

All terminals also have pharmacies often associated with the drugstore.

  • Guardian: terminals 1, 2 and 3 - transit area, 24/7; terminals 1, 2 and 3 - public area, 6:00-0:00
  • Airport Pharamcy: Terminal 4, transit area, 24/7

Restaurants

As with shopping options, Singapore Airport is well equipped with restaurants, fast-food outlets and cafés.

There are local restaurants serving Asian cuisine, small bistros and internationally known brands such as Starbucks, Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, KFC, McDonald's and Pret A Manger.

Many dining options at all terminals are open 24/7.

Airport Gardens

There are also several gardens to visit - the Cactus Garden in Terminal 1, the Sunflower and Orchid Gardens in Terminal 2 and take advantage of the relaxation corner with movies or video games.

In addition to gardens with real plants, you can also visit gardens with artwork. A list of all attractions is available on the airport's website: changiairport.com/attractions.

All the gardens are inside the terminals with open-air terraces and are free to enter 24/7.

Swimming pool

While waiting for your connection, take advantage of the relaxing pool on the rooftop of the "Aerotel Airport Transit Hotel", located right in the transit area of Terminal 1. For the public, the entrance fee is 25 sgd for 3 hours. Guests of the hotel are of course admitted free of charge.

The price also includes towel rental and the use of a locker for personal belongings.

The pool is open from 12:00-22:00.

Drinking water

Take a complimentary dip at the many cold drinking water fountains located throughout the terminals after the security check.

You can conveniently fill your own water bottle.

ATMs and currency exchange

The official airport exchange offices are run by Travelex with very unfavourable exchange rates.

You may prefer to use the ATMs of regular Singapore banks located in all terminals in the arrival and departure halls.

Travelling with children

Singapore Airport is also adapted to the needs of families with young children.

You can borrow an airport stroller from any information desk and leave it at the boarding gate before boarding. Stroller rental is free of charge.

In Terminals 1, 2 and 3 you will find playgrounds to keep your little ones entertained before departure. Check the airport's website: changiairport.com/play-area.

Transit Lounges

In addition to premium airline lounges for frequent flyer cardholders and premium class passengers, Singapore Airport has lounges available to all passengers.

Enjoy pre-flight serenity with comfortable seats, complimentary refreshments and showers where applicable.

Ambassador Transit Lounge

Available in Terminals 2 and 3. Open 24/7.

Vending machines selling drinks, sweets and drugstore items are located throughout the airport in the public and transit areas.
