Internet and wi-fi
Wi-fi is free and unlimited.
You will need to log in to the internet with a code, which you will receive by text message. Therefore, you need to enter a real phone number when logging in. Sms will also arrive to a foreign phone number without any problem.
Alternatively, you can get a code at the automated kiosks located throughout the airport, where you must scan your passport.

Luggage storage
Luggage storage, open 24/7, is located on the departure level (4th floor).
The price for 24 hours is 50 cny.
ATMs and currency exchange
There are many exchange offices at the airport, but the rates are very unfavourable.
We prefer to withdraw from ATMs of Chinese banks, which also accept standard international cards. There are not many ATMs at the airport and you can find them at the following locations:
- Departures floor near the check-in counters
- 2nd floor of the Ground Transportation Center near the subway station
Shops and supermarkets
The airport is equipped with a large number of shops selling luxury fashion, jewellery, watches, luggage or travel equipment.
There are also many duty free shops.
Most of the shops are located after security check and are usually open from 7:00am to 8:00pm.

Shenzhen Airport is well-equipped with local restaurants and international fast-food outlets.
More choice is available after security.

Drinking water
There are cold and hot drinking water dispensers in all terminals after security check.
You can fill your own bottle free of charge, which you can bring through security without any problems.
Showers
Public showers are not available at Shenzhen Airport, and you won't usually find showers in the premium lounges either.
