Internet and wi-fi

Use thewi-fi free of charge for 2 hours. After this time, you cannot log in for free again and must use the paid service for 6 usd / 1 Gb. Select the network "#SXMAIRPORT-WiFi-Visitor".

Do not delay after arrival by buying a physical sim card. Get a St. Martin data e-sim quickly and easily on the web airalo.com.

EU sim card holders can use data or make calls without charge on the French part of the island, but European roaming doesn't work in the Dutch part.

Luggage storage

There is no luggage storage or automatic lockers in the terminal.

Shops and supermarkets

There is only a small shop in the public area of the airport selling luggage and small travel equipment.

The nearest food supermarket "Maho Market" is located near the famous Maho Beach about 1 km from the terminal. In addition to regular groceries, there is also a counter with cheap hot food.

After security check, there are several duty free shops, as well as a sunglasses or souvenir shop. There are also two small shops selling drinks and snacks.

All shops don't open until after 8:30am and you can't even buy water at the airport until then.

Dining options

Restaurants or fast-food outlets are located only after security check.

There are about 3 fast food restaurants in the small food court and of the well-known brands, there is a Domino's Pizza branch at the airport.

Like the shops, the restaurants do not open until around 8:00. If you're travelling on the first morning departures, expect all dining options at the airport to be closed.

ATMs and exchange offices

There is no traditional exchange office at the airport, but there are two ATMs from local banks in the main concourse (public area).

The fee for foreign card withdrawals is around 6 usd.

Both ATMs dispense US dollars or the local currency, the Antillean guilder. We recommend withdrawing US dollars, as literally no one on St. Martin pays with Antillean guilders.

Drinking water

There are no drinking water dispensers available in the terminal. Only lukewarm water flows from the sinks in the toilets.

Showers

If you're thinking of taking a dip in the sea before your flight, bear in mind that there are no showers available anywhere in the terminal or on the public beaches.

Showers are not even available in the premium VIP lounges.

Vending machines

There are currently no vending machines in the terminal selling drinks or snacks.
