Serbia's second largest airport is located 5 km northwest of Niš city centre and is one of the very small airports with only a few flights a day.

Most tickets can be purchased from airserbia.com, which offers flights connecting at Belgrade BEG, Serbia's largest airport, as well as direct flights to several European destinations.

Ryanair or Wizz Air also fly to Niš, mainly from destinations in Western or Northern Europe.

A new terminal will open in 2024 to replace the inadequate old building, which can barely accommodate the passengers of one plane. The new Niš Airport terminal is small, but modern and very clear.
