Supermarket
The grocery store is operated by Carrefour Express and is located in the connecting corridor between the terminal and the Sheraton train station/hotel just outside the terminal.
It is open from 9:00-20:30.
Additionally, both terminals have Hudson News mini-markets in the public and transit areas.
Dining options
Restaurants are much more plentiful after security. You can generally eat at the higher quality and more expensive restaurants, but McDonald's and Starbucks are also available.
There are small food courts in Terminal 1 and in the public area of the airport (arrivals and departures), and in Terminal 2 there are three small cafés in the public area where you can easily buy water and fast food after arrival, for example.
No restaurant at Malpensa Airport is open 24 hours a day.
Shopping
You will always find considerably more shops after the security check.
Terminal 1 has a large number of shops selling luxury fashion, jewellery, watches or luggage. In Terminal 2 there are only a few fashion shops.
There are duty free shops in both terminals.
Luggage storage
The baggage room is located in the arrivals area of Terminal 1, part B, near door number 5.
Hours of operation are 7:00 am to 9:00 pm and you pay for 24 hours 8 eur to 10 eur depending on the size of your luggage.
ATMs
ATMs are available at many locations in the arrivals hall and at the train station.
ATM operators at the airport charge the following withdrawal fees for foreign cards:
- Banca Popolare di Sondrio (Terminal 1) - 0 eur
- Euronet (both terminals) - 5 eur
- Banca Popolare di Milano (Terminal 2) - 4,50 eur
Showers
There are no public showers for all passengers at Malpensa Airport.
You can only use the showers in the Premium Lounge, where you can pay for access at 68 eur.
Vending machines
Vending machines for drinks, sandwiches and sweets are widely distributed in both terminals in the public and transit areas.
You can pay with your card or cash.
Drinking water
Although there are no water fountains in the airport, the water running in the taps in all toilets is cold and drinkable.
