London Luton Airport in a nutshell

London

The airport is 55 km north of central London and serves almost exclusively low-cost carriers, led by Wizz Air and easyJet. Ryanair also operates a significant number of flights from Luton, although its main base is at nearby London-Stansted Airport.

The competitive advantage over other London airports is the relatively small size of the terminal, the clear space and therefore shorter check-in times.

Its location also makes Luton Airport convenient for travel to Oxford (84 km) or the Harry Potter film studios (30 km).
