Getting from Ljubljana Airport

Ljubljana

The airport is served by buses to the centre of Ljubljana, the famous town of Bled or the ski resort of Kranj.

Buses to Ljubljana

Connections to the central bus station are provided by the suburban line 64 operated by the Ljubljana Transport Company and Arriva.

Express minibuses are operated by Nomago.

Exact timetables can be found most clearly on the arriva.si website. Search for connections between "Brnik/airport Ljubljana" and "Ljubljana AP".

Tickets can only be purchased from the driver and only in cash.

  • Frequency - 25 to 60 minutes
  • Last bus from the airport - 5:00 am (6:10 am on weekends)
  • First bus from bus station - 20:00

The main bus station in the city centre has bus departures to the airport from bus stop number 28.

Nomago, GoOpti

For later arrivals, use private shuttle carriers Nomago or GoOpti with a price 12 eur per person and a fixed timetable.

Buses to Bled and Kranj

Arriva also provides direct connections without transfers to Kranj. All timetables and the possibility to buy online tickets on Arriva.si.

  • Kranj - connection to the nearest larger town every hour from 6:00 to 23:00, only 5 times a day on Saturdays and no buses on Sundays.
    • Price - 1,70 eur
  • Bled - direct connections from the airport also run to the famous Lake Bled in the Alps, always 6 times a day in both directions (weekdays and weekends).
    • Price - 1,30 eur

Car rental

Discover the beauty of the Slovenian countryside and head to the Alps or the sea. In this case, a car is the best means of transport for exploring even the most backwater villages.

The arrivals hall is home to several branches of international car rental companies and prices for a week's rental start at 150 eur.

Car rental counters can be found in a separate building opposite the airport terminal (about 50 metres away).

Taxi

Neither Uber nor Bolt operate in Ljubljana, but taxis are always available outside the terminal.

Payment can be made by card or cash and the price to Ljubljana city centre is around 40 eur.
