Ljubljana Airport formally has 2 terminals, but they are combined into a single building. The older part (on the far left when viewed from the outside) is used only for handling occasional charter flights, while the newer black building on the right is the main check-in area.

Overall, the terminal is modern, small and easy to navigate.

The only security checkpoint leads to the departure gates for flights to the Schengen area. Passport control continues through to the gates for non-Schengen flights.

Transfer between flights

Although Ljubljana is not currently a major transfer airport, it is equipped with the possibility of direct transfers without leaving the transit zone.

Upon exiting the Schengen area, you will find yourself directly in the departure gate area for flights to Schengen. The transfer between these flights takes 1-2 minutes. To move to the non-Schengen area, you have to go through passport control and the transfer takes approximately 5-10 minutes.
