Transportation from Las Palmas Airport

Las Palmas

The airport has many local and international car rental companies and is also connected to all major cities by bus. Buses run to the airport 24 hours a day.

Car rental

The best form of transport around the island if you don't want to stay in one place is to rent a car. The airport is home to all the car rental companies that operate in Gran Canaria.

Weekly rental prices range from around 120 eur in the winter season for a small car. In the summer season, expect prices from 200 eur. Read our detailed article on car hire in Gran Canaria for specific tips on car rental companies and operations in Gran Canaria.

Buses

There are several bus routes from the airport around the island. The average interval for each of these is 30 to 60 minutes, but several lines run to major towns at the same time, which shortens the resulting interval.

The routes are operated by Global, the official website is guaguasglobal.com.

Bus stops are about 30 metres from the terminal and the route to them is clearly signposted. For timetables, click on a specific line number or, more easily, use the connection finder, which will give you all the options on a particular route.
