Transfer at Lanzarote Airport

Charco Verde

Lanzarote Airport is small, but still uses 2 terminals divided between flights between the other Canary Islands and flights to foreign or Spanish mainland destinations.

  • Terminal 1 - a modern medium sized terminal with boarding bridges, restaurants and shops. It handles all flights outside the Canary Islands.
  • Terminal 2 - small old terminal with one café, toilets and no other facilities. Handles all flights to neighbouring islands (Binter Canarias and CanaryFly airlines).

The terminals are approximately 80 metres apart along a walkway.

Transfer between flights

Lanzarote is not typically a transfer airport and therefore does not have a direct transfer transit zone.

If you plan your own transfer here, you must always leave the transit zone and go back through security.

If you are changing terminals, you must walk 80 metres between buildings on the public sidewalk.
