Kosice International Airport in a nutshell
Slovakia's second largest airport is located about 6 km south of the centre of Košice near the ironworks.
Košice Airport is one of the smallest airports in Europe, but it has a relatively rich network of routes. Connections to the British Isles or Prague are provided by Ryanair, but other airlines also fly to Košice.

The lounge here opens at 3:30 most of the week for the first morning flights. I'm alone in it before 7am, comfortable, spacious, plenty of snacks, a selection of soft drinks plus beer, wine, spirits. No fresh food. They write down entries by hand on paper, I'm the sixth guest this month on PP:)
