If you have an overnight layover, during which it is not worth driving all the way to Kiev, or an early morning departure, it is definitely worth considering accommodation near the airport. Take into account that the centre of Kiev is at least an hour's drive from the airport.
Right in the airport area you will find a hotel with classic rooms with private bathrooms and very good prices around 31 eur per night per room. Hotels cannot be booked through any general search engine like booking.com, reservations can only be made through the official airport website:
- Hotel "Boryspil"
- You can walk to the hotel from the terminal within 15 minutes, or you can use the free airport Shuttle bus (it runs every half hour 24 hours a day).
Another option right at the airport is the capsule hotel GettSleep Boryspil with prices from about 18 eur per night.
Alternatively, there are numerous accommodation options in the nearby town of Boryspil, which can also be booked through booking.com. You can choose from a variety of facilities ranging from extra cheap apartments to more expensive hotels. A taxi from the airport will cost about 120 uah, a shuttle bus at 6 uah, see above in the transport section.
