The fastest and cheapest connection to the centre is provided by the railway line, which stops at the main station (platform 14) and at Darnitsa station on the other bank of the Dnieper. Trains run roughly once an hour 24 hours a day, with the journey to the main station taking less than 40 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the station or from the ticket machine at the exit of Terminal D (right) for 100 uah, you can pay with cash or card.

An alternative service with shorter intervals is the 322 "SkyBus". In the direction of the airport, the stop is located directly in front of the terminal, in the city in front of the main railway station and at the metro stop "Kharkovskaya" on the eastern outskirts of Kiev. The bus stops at both terminals D and F.

  • To the main railway station: about 40-70 minutes, 100 uah
  • to metro "Kharkovskaya": about 20 minutes, 60 uah

Buses run approximately once every 20 minutes 24 hours a day.

An Uber ride will cost 350 to 400 uah on the way to the center of Kiev.

To Boryspil

The nearby town of Boryspil, after which the airport is named, can serve as a popular place to stay overnight between flights. Uber is the easiest transportation, with rides going for about 115 uah.

Alternatively, there are shuttles departing from stops between Terminal D and Terminal F. You can take shuttles to Boryspil on lines 2, 3V, 16 and 17, but their schedules are highly irregular. Each line runs about once an hour and you pay for a ticket at 6 uah.
