Maurice Bishop Airport Terminal is not served by public transport buses. From the airport, you can reach your destination by rental car, taxi or hotel-provided transfer.
Car rental
There are several well-known car rental companies at the airport (Avis, Hertz, ACE, etc.) and all counters are located in the arrivals hall.
Prices for renting a smaller car for a week in high season (December to April) rise to around 530 usd. In the low season, you can also rent a car for a week at 400 usd.

We strongly recommend booking your car well in advance. The capacity of local rental companies is small and it happens that cars are sold out even 3 months before the planned trip.
Taxi
Taxis are ubiquitous in Grenada and there are always plenty waiting outside the arrivals hall.
Mobile apps such as Uber, Lyft or Bolt do not operate here.
Prices are fixed, there is no meter and no haggling. It is not customary to tip the driver.
You can only pay in cash with US or Eastern Caribbean dollars.
- Grand Anse - 40 xcd / 16 usd
- St. George's - 50 xcd / 20 usd
- Lance aux Epines - 40 xcd / 16 usd
- Grenville - 110 xcd / 44 usd
- Sauteurs - 170 xcd / 64 usd
Public transport
Grenada has minibuses on 9 regular routes. However, there is no service to the airport terminal.
The nearest bus stop is 800 metres from the airport (see map), where the number 1 bus line runs in the direction of Grand Anse and St. George's.
The bus service is only suitable for travellers with small luggage, as there is very little space on the minibuses. The buses run very irregularly at an average of 1-2 times per hour.
They are payable in East Caribbean dollars only and the cost to Grand Anse is 2,50 xcd.
